Richard Owen Obituary, Death – The Dorchester County Coroner’s Office has been successful in determining the identity of the person who was killed in a shooting that took place over the weekend in North Charleston. Richard Owen, IV, age 21, who had been shot on Windsor Hill Boulevard, was pronounced dead at the hospital about 11 o’clock at night on Sunday following the event, as stated by Paul Brouthers, the coroner for Dorchester County.
Owen was taken there after the shooting occurred. The town of Summerville was where Richard Owen was born. Owen was found lying on his back after he had been shot, as stated in a report written by the North Charleston Police Department when officers arrived on the scene on Windsor Hill Boulevard at approximately 10 o’clock at night on Sunday.
According to the report, law enforcement officials administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to the guy before the arrival of firefighters and emergency medical service professionals, who then took him to the hospital.
David Lavelle Jr., 19, was taken into custody by the police in connection with the incident that led to the deaths of multiple people, as stated by the authorities.
According to the detectives who worked on the case, Lavelle is believed to have been charged with murder in addition to possessing a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. This information comes from the investigators who worked on the case. It would appear that a photograph of Lavelle being booked was not immediately released to the public.
