Michael Schrader Obituary, Resident Of Springville, Died At 66

Michael Schrader Obituary, Death- Michael (Mike) William Schrader, who was 66 years old at the time of his death on May 14, 2023, passed away in Westview Nursing and Rehab. He called the town of Springville his home.

In the city of Champaign, Illinois, his birth was given to him by his parents, who are named William B. Schrader and Barbara (Brown) Schrader. He is their son. Mike received his diploma from Bloomington High School in 1975 and then continued his education in the culinary arts at West Baden, where he graduated with honors. Mike came to the conclusion that the sector of food sales was where he should be focusing his efforts after working as a chef in Orlando, Florida.

At the time, Mike was residing in Florida. Later on in his work, he reached the point where he was able to retire from Farm Boy Food Services in Evansville. This was a significant accomplishment for him. Mike enjoyed spending time with his family and friends outside fishing, hunting, and camping. These were some of Mike’s favorite activities. On occasion, he would also take his niece Samantha skeet shooting, which was another one of his favorite activities.

In addition to that, he had a passion for the kitchen and enjoyed trying out new dishes using a variety of recipes. Michael is survived by the woman he has been married to for the past quarter of a century, Denise; his daughter, Deanna (Chris) Sykes; his grandchildren, Kallista, Coby, and Kendyl Sykes; his parents, Bill, and Barbara Schrader; his siblings, Cindy (Thom) Benson, Cathy Stone (Steve Franklin), and Cheryl (Billy) Gerken; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In the future, there will be a Memorial Service or a Celebration of Life held in honor of the deceased. 4155 South Old State 37 is the address of the Allen Funeral Home and Crematory, which can be found in Bloomington.
