Mary Reece Obituary, Death- Because of the passing of one of our coworkers here in the Greenville Public School District, our lives have been significantly altered by the absence of an important figure. This gap has been left in all of our hearts.
On behalf of everyone here at work, I would like to send our most heartfelt condolences and genuine sympathies to the family, friends, and loved ones of Ms. Mary Lee Reece on the occasion of their loss. Ms. Mary Lee Reece was a wonderful person who will be greatly missed.
She began her professional life working as a Switchboard Operator at the district’s Central Office. Subsequently, she moved on to work in the district’s Business Office as an Accounts Payable Clerk.
At this time, we would like to convey our condolences to you on behalf of the administration, teachers, and staff of the GPSD, as well as former students, current students, volunteers, and constituents. We have high hopes that the memories of Ms. Mary Reece’s unrelenting dedication to the Greenville Public Schools and the contributions she made to her community may bring you some measure of solace during this trying time. We are grateful for everything that she did for her community.
My great-friend passed away recently, and one of my earliest and closest customers was the child that she left behind. I will miss them both very much. What a marvelous example of the human race as a whole. On Friday, I attempted to call you to check on how you were doing but you were sound asleep when I got through. Because of this, I feel the most animosity toward Mitch on Mother’s Day, particularly because of the way he treated my mother. In my opinion, he ought to have shown greater respect for the situation.
