Officer Rouse was a police officer in this country for 25 years until he resigned in September 2019, at which point he returned to his native country of Barbados, where he passed away this morning at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Officer Rouse’s service to this country as a police officer lasted until September 2019. The years 1993 through 2019 mark the period of Officer Rouse’s career in law enforcement, which ended with his retirement in 2019.
