Lauren Marr Obituary, Death – A woman from Bowling Green was pronounced deceased at the site of an accident that took place on Interstate 165 in Butler County following a collision that took place there. On Tuesday evening at five o’clock, the Butler County Sheriff’s Office reached out to the Kentucky State Police to request their assistance in investigating a collision that ended in a fatality. The call was sent to the Kentucky State Police by the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.
They responded to the location that was situated close to the 31-mile marker on Interstate 165, as stated by the troopers. An early investigation by the authorities led them to the conclusion that a 2012 Nissan Maxima was traveling in the direction of northbound traffic on Interstate 165 when it left the left side of the roadway and into the grass median. This was the conclusion that they came to after doing the initial investigation.
The authorities assert that as the Nissan continued into the southbound lane, it collided with a 2018 Ford Escape that was being driven by Bowling Green resident Lauren G. Marr, who is 27 years old. After arriving at the scene, investigators from the Butler County Coroner’s Office determined that Marr had already passed away. After sustaining critical injuries, the pilot of the Nissan was flown by helicopter to Skyline Hospital in Nashville for treatment. The investigation is currently still being carried out.
