Anthony “Kent” Lovell, 56, of Chapmansboro, Tennessee, died at home on Wednesday, May 10, 2023.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17th, at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View, with Bro. Jackson Watts officiating. Pallbearers will be relatives and friends for the burial in Blue Springs Cemetery. The family will greet visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and again on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
Kent was born in Dickson, Tennessee on March 24, 1967, to Jeane Perry Dodd and the late Clinton Lovell. He worked as a truck driver for A.N. Webber for almost 15 years. He loved old vehicles and drag racing was his passion. Along with his father, he was predeceased by a brother, Stacey Lovell; a stepfather, Michael Dodd; and an uncle, Mickey Perry.
He is survived by his son, Daniel Lovell; sisters, Regina (Tracy) Dowlen and Misty Denney; one niece; and four nephews, in addition to his mother.
