Keane Gregoire Obituary, Death – After being involved in a collision on Friday, Keane Gregoire, age 18, from Nut Grove, was taken to Sir Lester Bird Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
On the morning of Thursday, May 18 at approximately 2:00 a.m., Keane was a passenger in a vehicle that was involved in an accident on All Saints Road. The driver of a gray Toyota BB motor is said to have been going from south to north along the same road at a high pace when the driver seemingly lost control of the car, according to the charges. It is alleged that the vehicle went off the road into the Western side of the roadway before it crashed into a column made of concrete.
Firefighters from the St. Johns Fire Station were dispatched to the scene and had to use the Jaws of Life to free Keane and another passenger of Freeman’s Village who was also 19 years old from the wreckage. Both passengers, who had injuries of different severity, were taken by emergency medical services to the Sir Lester Bird Center for treatment. It has been claimed that the driver of the vehicle ran away from the scene of the accident, and the authorities are currently looking for them.
