Joseph McKenna Obituary, Death – Joseph McKenna was a valued professor of theology, the voice of Albertus athletics, and a friend to many people. It is with a heavy heart and profound grief that we announce his loss.
He was the voice of Albertus athletics. Ten years of Joe’s life were dedicated to serving Albertus Magnus, and he cherished his role as a Falcon. Joe was a person who valued the significance of personal connections.
He had a profound concern for the students, his fellow faculty members, and his spiritual connection with God. Joe radiated generosity and delight in all that he did and shared with his family, from attending morning Chapel services to student dances and field excursions to the press box.
To Joe’s wife Susie and their extended family, the entire Albertus Magnus community sends their most sincere love and gratitude, as well as their most genuine condolences and sympathies at this difficult time.
To you, O Lord, may the gift of eternal rest be bestowed to him, and may Your unending light shine upon Joe. I pray that his spirit, together with the souls of all the devout people who have passed away, finds eternal rest.
On Tuesday morning, a prayer service will be performed for our students, and counselors will be available at the Center for Innovation and Learning to support our community and provide assistance with any issues that may arise.
The details of the Memorial Mass and Celebration of Joe’s Life, which are now in the process of being planned, will be disseminated in a separate communication after they have been finalized
