Jimmy Sneed Obituary, Death – Mr. James Sneed also known as “Jimmy,” of Midlothian, Virginia, died on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, in the loving arms of the angels. At the time of his death, he was surrounded by his wife and children. Jimmy Snead was predeceased by his parents, James and Doris Snead, as well as his brothers, Donny and Deek Snead.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Tommie Withers Snead; his daughter, Jeanne Snead Billings and her husband Ron; his son, James Edward Snead III “Jed” and his wife Rachel; and his grandchildren, Luke, Cora, Grace, and Nina, who will greatly miss their Poppy. All of them will cherish his memories.
In addition, his late wife’s children, Larry (and his wife Lisa), Monica, Jill (and her husband Don), and Scott, as well as their children; his brother Tom Snead (and his wife Dana); and his nieces Laura, Anna, and Liz, as well as his nephews Timmy, Austin, Frankie, and Clay, survive him. Jimmy will be remembered as a man with a great sense of humor and a kind heart.
He’ll also be known as “Jimmy.” As a husband, father, and grandfather, he was committed to his family. For approximately 20 years, he worked with Tommie as a daycare provider for a huge number of children, and these children looked up to him as a role model.
He has been responsible for the production of numerous stunning floral arrangements as a skilled florist and co-owner of Bon Air Florist for the past three decades. He obtained the rank of Fellow in the Manchester Moose Lodge, where he was previously a Governor. He belonged to the group.
