Jennifer McDermott Obituary, Death – According to the Anne Arundel Police Department, a woman from Glen Burnie was riding a motorcycle on Sunday when it collided with another vehicle near Galesville. The incident was reported by the Anne Arundel County Police Department. The woman tragically passed away as a direct result of the collision.
When the incident occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Muddy Creek Road, Jennifer Lynn McDermott, 34, was allegedly operating a 2022 Yahama motorcycle and attempted to pass another car that was moving southbound on the road. This is according to the complaint that was made by the police. The second vehicle was going in the opposite direction of the first vehicle. McDermott was thrown from the vehicle she was riding when it collided with a 2004 Toyota Tacoma after she crossed the center line into the northbound lane of traffic on her motorcycle.
The collision caused her to be ejected from the vehicle she was riding. According to the statements made by the police, the man who was driving the truck, who was 46 years old and from Edgewater, did not sustain any injuries as a result of the incident. After arriving at the scene, firefighters from the Anne Arundel Fire Department confirmed that McDermott was discovered to be deceased at the scene of the event. The department’s Traffic Safety Section is currently conducting an investigation into the collision that took place just a few moments ago.
