Jaemiya Seymore Obituary, Death – 18-yr-old Jaemiya Seymore, also known as “Jayski,” was identified as the girl youngster who was shot and died late last night near O’block. St. Bernard Hospital received a drop-off gunshot victim, later identified as 18-year-old Jaemiya, with a Gsw to the chest on Tuesday, May 16th, 2023.
She was taken to the University of Colorado Hospital and pronounced 0-1-1-0. The crime site was located at 62nd and King Dr. in Chicago. They discovered several shell casings. A Shot Spotter reported 8 bullets on 65th and King Dr. about that time. And then there was a report of a person shot. According to CPD, she was dumped off in the ER by two unknown males who then departed. CPD investigators are checking hospital cameras to determine the identity of the unknown guys and the vehicle/plate number they are driving.
Area 2 Detectives are investigating, thus no suspects are in custody.
