Jack Wiederstein Obituary, Death – Our church is in a state of great mourning as a result of the passing of Jack Wiederstein on April 30. Jack was 13 years old and had just recently become a member of Friends Congregational Church, United Church of Christ.
At Friends Church, there will be a memorial service performed in honor of the departed on the following Sunday, May 21, at three o’clock in the afternoon.
This service will take place in honor of the person who passed away. Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend without restriction. During this trying time, I ask that you continue to pray for Jack’s family, that you continue to lean on one another, that you continue to reach out to one another, and that you continue to keep all people in our church and the wider community close with support and love.
I know that this is a difficult request to make, but I know that it is one that is necessary. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be directed to the Wellborn Middle School Band Program, an activity in which Jack took great interest and in which he participated to a significant degree.
