Helen Farber Obituary, Death – Waynesburg resident, 85 years old, passed away on March 21st, 2023. She was born in Waynesburg on February 25, 1938, and grew up there with her stepfather, James Mastroine, and parents, Jack Tirabassi and Anna (D’Agostino), who all passed away.
Helen graduated from Sandy Valley High School in 1956. After 20 years, she resigned from M & M Market in Dover in August of 2008; prior to that, she worked at Waynesburg Foods and Colton Hardware. She has attended St. James Catholic Church her entire childhood.
Helen’s nine siblings—Mary Policaro, Sue Romano, Betty DiDente, Nellie Churilla, Mary Jane Markino, Bill Mastroine, Tony Mastroine, Jack “Tony” Tirabassi, Palmer “Pete” Tirabassi, and a grand-daughter-in-law, Tiffany Farber—also predeceased her.
Mary Beth Farber and Joseph (Laurie) Farber, her children; Joshua and Nicholas Farber, their children; Kathleen and Gary Kinsinger, and their children Carson, Chloe, and Scarlett; and N. Joseph Farber, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her brother James (Diane) Mastroine; her sister-in-law Theresa Tirabassi; her brother-in-law James Markino; and many nieces and nephews, including Denny DiDente
On Friday morning at 10 a.m., at St. James Catholic Church, Rev. Joseph Zamary will preside over a Mass of Christian Burial. The Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia will be open from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday for visitors.
