Gary Polisseni Obituary, Death-

There was a mother who went by the name Eugene R. Polisseni, a father who went by the name Gregory E. Polisseni, and a sister who went by the name Kimberly M. Polisseni who all passed away before he did. Gary made the most of every opportunity that came his way during his life. He experienced the greatest amount of happiness and contentment in his life when he was among members of his family and friends, particularly when he was with his wife and children.

His favorite things to do were spend the summers on Canandaigua Lake and go hunting with his friends at the camp when he had free time. Survived by his wife Lanna Polisseni, his children Laura J. Polisseni and Nicholas R. Polisseni (Danielle Antetomaso), mother Wanda M. Wyman Polisseni, sister Valerie A.P. Wilcox (David), niece Kimberly Wilcox (Shea Green), Tyler Wilcox, Spencer Wilcox(Ashley Sutherland), mother of his children Amy Polisseni, Aunt Eleanor Palmeri, Uncle George and Aunt Joann Wyman and many cousins and friends.

Both of these pursuits were at the top of his list of favorites. He gained a reputation as a respected and well-liked person among the athletes he coached throughout the course of his career as a coach with Fairport Little League and Perinton Youth Hockey. This reputation helped him earn a spot on the coaching staff of both of these organizations. It brought him a great deal of pleasure to make those around him laugh, and he made it his business to ensure that everybody was in a good mood at all times.

Because of his generosity, not only did the lives of people he knew and loved profoundly change, but also the lives of an incalculably greater number of persons than we will ever be able to tally up. He was a really compassionate and kind-hearted individual. Everyone is going to miss Gary tremendously, and the reasons for this are twofold: first, his heart was big, and second, he had an attitude that was larger than life.
