Gary Block Obituary, Death – Because his parents, Stephen D. Block and Barbara J. Block, chose to raise him in Providence, he had lived there for a significant portion of his life. He was a native of the city. In addition to having a degree in computer technology from Rhode Island College, he was also a member of the Cape Cod Curling Club.
His previous employer, Amica Insurance Company, employed him as a computer technician. After the death of his parents, his legacy will be carried on in part by his sister, Susan Fain, who is also one of the persons who will carry on his legacy. A memorial service will be performed at the graveside in Warwick’s Lincoln Park Cemetery on Wednesday, August 2 at one o’clock in the afternoon.
