Doris Wilcox Obituary, Member Of St. Phillip CME Church Has Died

Doris Wilcox Obituary, Death – We make this announcement with extremely heavy hearts as he was one of the single most essential cornerstones of both St. Phillip CME Church and the city of Fort Myers. Doris Wilcox was one of the early pioneers in the founding of our Zion, and she was also the primary musician for well over half a century. She began her involvement in this endeavor at a young age.

Her wit and attractiveness will never be matched, and her impact on the CME church as a whole will be acknowledged and revered for many years to come. Her legacy will live on. “Because I am a good and faithful servant, you have served me very well,” he said. Mother Doris Wilcox, I commend your efforts and I thank you. We have the deepest compassion for you and are confident that we will see each other again on the other side.

Please remember the Wilcox family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this trying time as they mourn the death of a true solider in the army of The Lord. They are going through this terrible period. The Boyd Funeral Home is going to be the one in charge of coordinating and directing the arrangements for the funeral. The services that will be held on Saturday, May 19 at 11 am will take place at St. John First MB Church in Fort Myers, Florida. These services will be held in Florida.
