Debra Craig Obituary, Death – Debra On May 20, 2023, in her home in Livingston, Texas, Jane (Lewallen) Craig, 71, passed away. She was born to W.A. and Barbara (Whitehouse) Lewallen on May 23, 1951, in Mineral Wells, Texas.
Debra was the firstborn of nine kids. She met her future husband, Kenneth, in Mineral Wells’s high school. They hit it off and tied the knot on Valentine’s Day in 1968.
Debra loved being with her big, loving family. She took tremendous pleasure in feeding people, doting on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and challenging them to games of dice and strategy.
Her happiest moments occurred when she was either playing a game on her tablet, visiting a rummage sale, or fishing at the lake. Kenneth Craig and their daughter Stephanie, as well as their father, W.A. Lewallen, and sisters, Linda Reedy and Edith Gilbert, and brother, Raymond Lewallen, all predeceased her.
Kelly Craig and her partner Jimmy Burns, Kevin Craig and his wife Cherry, their children and grandchildren Jodie Wright, Amber Henley, Khrystina Phillips (Jonathan), Kyle Craig (April), Derek Hughes, Brittany Hughes, Bryan Craig, Tianna Craig, McKenzie Craig, Cayden Jones, Kamberlee Craig, and Emma Craig, as well as fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Debra is also survived by her mother, Barbara Lewallen
On Wednesday, May 24 from 5 to 7 PM, friends and family are invited to Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home in Mineral Wells for a viewing.
On Thursday, May 25, at 2:00 p.m., there will be a funeral ceremony at Rock Creek Baptist Church in Mineral Wells, followed by interment at Woodland Park Cemetery.
