Christopher Bounds Obituary, Death- We were taken aback and deeply saddened to learn of the demise of Reverend Doctor C.P. Bounds, Sr., and as a direct result of the news, we are carrying a great burden in our hearts.
The congregation at the Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church of Rossville was well-served by the Reverend Dr. C.P. Bounds, who served as senior pastor there for more than six years. He was well-known for his tireless dedication to the people who attended that church. In this trying time, I would like to offer my most heartfelt condolences to the family of Reverend Dr. C.P. Bounds, Sr. on behalf of the congregation of the Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church in Rossville, where I presently serve as the Pastor.
Our church is deeply saddened by the passing of Reverend Dr. C.P. Bounds, Sr. Because Reverend Dr. C.P. Bounds, Sr. was a founding member of our church, I have been asked to serve in this capacity by the congregation. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers as you go through this challenging time and that we feel the same anguish that you do.
