Charles Farmer Obituary, Death – Charles D. Farmer, age 82, passed away at his home in Harts, West Virginia on May 12, 2023. He was a resident of Harts, WV. He was the son of the late George and Lula Mae Runyon Farmer, and he was born on November 21, 1940, in Logan, West Virginia.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his grandparents, P.D. Marion and Mary Farmer; his father and mother-in-law, Golden A. and Garnett Dingess Adkins; his only son, Timothy C. Farmer; his two grandchildren, Matthew and Missy Farmer; and seven of his brothers, Willis, Marion, Raymond, Earnest, Clifford, and Tony Farmer.
Gardening, mowing, woodworking, camping, working with horses in the garden plowing, attending church and being a member of the Chapman Memorial Freewill Baptist Church, and spending time with family were all things that Charles enjoyed doing in his spare time.
Those who are left behind to honor his legacy are his wife, Helen Marie Adkins Farmer; one daughter, Tammy (Bruce) Farmer Workman; one sister, Gail (Randall) Clevinger of Danville, West Virginia; three brothers, Jerry (Faye) Farmer, Dale (Karen) Farmer, and Bob (Angie) Farmer, all of Harts, West Virginia; a brother-in-law, Golden (Kat) Adkins; four Felicia Dawn (Marvin) Workman of Harts.
Nathaniel Cole (Alexis) Workman of St. Albans, WV, and Keiton Tompkins; seven great-grandchildren, Christopher Matthew, Nicholas Kohl, Caleb Ryan, and Joshua Dylan Farmer, Laila, and Timothy Cheeseman, and Emilee Paige and Brantley Workman; two sisters-in-law, Betty Farmer, and Mary Jane; and Daughters-in-law, Darlene Farmer, and Bobbi Jo Tompkins.
