Carolyn Knowles Obituary, Death – After learning of the demise of my beloved friend Mrs. Carolyn Knowles this morning, my heart is filled with sadness.
Mrs. Knowles was a devout member of her community, church, and family, all of which she committed her life to serving. She taught in the public schools for many years before retiring, and she was also engaged in her church and many other organizations across the county and the state.
She was a member of the Scott County Election Commission and devoted her life to serving the people of Mississippi and Scott County in an effort to make the world a better place.
I count it a privilege that over the years she has been a friend, a guide, a prayer warrior, and almost like a mother to me. We shall miss having her around. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone in the family as well as all of the close friends.
