Caleb Thomas Obituary, Death – On May 16, 2023, at around 1947 hours, Patrol Deputies and Investigators were summoned to the vicinity of Parkway Station Drive SE near Grand Central Way SE in Cartersville, Bartow County, Georgia in relation to an assault in progress, which was subsequently confirmed to be a homicide. Caleb Demond Thomas, 19, from Marietta was identified as the victim, and first responders treated him at the scene of the incident before transporting him to Piedmont Cartersville Hospital, where he later passed away as a result of the injuries he experienced. The incident was fatal. It was stated that a silver-colored Toyota Tacoma with four doors was parked in the cul-de-sac of Parkway Station Drive, and witnesses spotted Thomas racing away from the vehicle after it was parked there. The vehicle was also described as having a four-door configuration.
Thomas was attacked by two males who remained anonymous as they chased him down, caught up with him, and then drove off in the Toyota. Thomas was injured as a result of the attack. Both the driver and the passenger were described as being white guys in their twenties. The driver was driving, and the passenger was a passenger. Both the driver and the passenger were described as being white males in their twenties. The driver was said to be shirtless and in his twenties, while the passenger was said to be a white male.
