Belvan Gerischer Obituary, Death- The funeral for Mr. Belvan P. Gerischer, who was from Davenport and had reached the age of 47 when he passed away, was held on May 16, 2023, at The Ivy Assisted Living.
His cremation rites have been performed in accordance with the wishes he expressed before to his passing. The Celebration of Life Services will be held at the VFW Post 828 in Davenport, which can be found at 101 S. Linwood. On September 4, 1975, in the city of Davenport, Michael Gerischer and Thelma (Fields) Gerischer became parents for the first time. They named their son Belvan. He graduated from Davenport West High School, where he had finished all of his high school requirements and obtained his diploma. Belvan has been employed by McLaughlin Body as a welder throughout the course of the past 17 years. He was a racing enthusiast who enjoyed watching Nascar and was a devoted fan of the Chicago Cubs.
In addition, he was an outdoorsman who liked to go fishing and camping. The time that Belvan was able to spend with his friends and family was something that he held in the highest regard. Belvan is survived by his devoted companion, Shantelle Hahn; his father, Michael Gerischer; his sisters Dorothy Gerischer and Darla Phillips; as well as a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins. VFW Post 828 counted Belvan as a member of its ranks. Before he did, his mother, Thelma, as well as two of his sisters, Dena and Danette, and one of his brothers, Michael, all went away. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
