Asson Hacker Obituary, Death – We are saddened to inform you of the passing of Deputy Sheriff Asson Hacker, who served with the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office in the state of Indiana. Our hearts are filled with sadness at the news of his demise.
Bringing the Watch to a Close: Thursday, March 2, 2023, will be the date of the event. At the time of his passing, Deputy Sheriff Asson Hacker was participating in defensive tactics training at the Southwestern Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in Evansville. In addition to having the sickle cell trait, Hacker died of sickling, which is a complication that can be caused by activity.
Sadly, he suffered indications of illness while he was in the process of training, and he had to be taken to a neighboring hospital, where he ultimately passed away. At the time that this sentence was written, Deputy Hacker had been employed by the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office for a period of only a few months. Those who are left behind following his death include his wife, four sons, parents, three brothers, and two sisters. He also leaves behind his parents.
