She was a lady who was proud of her strength and independence, and she was the type of person who accepted and encouraged my excitement for surfing and spent as much time as I could in the sun and salt of the ocean. She had her own surfing experience. RIP I would like to express my gratitude to you, Mum, for helping me develop an interest in surfing and other activities related to the ocean.
I want you to know that I love you, Mom, and that I’ll always keep you in mind when I’m out in the ocean looking for waves. It would mean a great deal to me if you could periodically shower me with some faultless bombs if you have any sway with the gods, and it would be tremendously appreciated if you did.
