Allan Law Obituary, Death – We regret to inform you of the death of Allan Law, our dear friend, colleague, peer, father, and husband. The crew at Inland AV, Calgary, adored Allan. He was well-known for his generosity, constantly making certain that everyone was taken care of. He was a dedicated worker who was always eager to go above and beyond to ensure the success of the client’s events.
“Allan was a force of nature,” rental technician Andrew said. You may assign him a task and expect him to complete it with zeal. That man never said anything negative or discouraging. We were extremely lucky to have him on our squad.”
Allan began working for Inland AV in 2005. He worked full-time as the Coast Plaza Hotel and Conference Centre’s in-house event tech. His dedication to serving the clients at the Coast Plaza Hotel and Conference Centre garnered Allan high accolades from the executives, catering & banquet management, and many “testimonials” from our guests at the Coast Plaza.
Moe Alibhai, an Inland AV alumni, has known Allan for over 30 years. “I first met Allan when he was the banquet manager at Valley Ridge & Golf Club. I liked and trusted him right away. We continued to collaborate when he was promoted to banquet manager at the Holiday Inn South. I hired him as our in-house event technician when Inland AV began supporting events at the Coast Plaza. He was adored by all.
He would go above and beyond by picking up or dropping off employees who needed to get to the Calgary Airport, and I recall his invaluable assistance with my daughter’s wedding. He was a family friend, and I will remember the family dinners we shared.” Allan brought the same aptitude and drive to the shop that he brought to our Calgay office. Our entire crew adored him and will miss him greatly!
